Today wasn't crazy busy, but logging on to work still fills me with dread each day, lol.

Everyone is on their last nerve. This pandemic is messing with our heads, even though none of us are sick.

The highlight-I got to work at the Theater again! (Just dusting after they did a construction project, but still, there is something about being inside that building that I love.

I had a heart to heart with my boss today.
I had been making alot of assumptions. SO AGAIN IT IS ALL MY FAULT!
But at least I got some clarifications on some things.

I have time off next week. So happy!

That would be nice.
I did not sleep in on my short vacation, but I didn't mind at all because I got to see lots of beautiful mountains and scenery and spend time with family!

Sooooo......today sucked like every other friday sucks. But I have had suckier!
So, today I go get my lunch, takes me a couple minutes, get back to work, use the restroom, I clean the space on the table I am going to sit at and I hear someone rushing downstairs. "Katie you are needed upstairs! So sorry! Jess has to go!"
"Okay" I say. And I stuff a bite of food in my face before going upstairs to see what is going on.
She had an emergency at home apparently. So that was at 1:20. I finally got lunch at 2:50 or just after 3.

Cool.

It wasn't all that bad really. We just have a manager who has no idea what is going on in the drive thru and it is frustrating.

Anyway.

So it is the weekend.

Then I work for a week

And then I have some time off again. That was smart.

Another week. Another several hundred slides created, modified, proof-read and sent. Another several dozen emails written. Another 25-30 projects written up, started, or closed. Another 5 days where I don't do much with my off-hours that's productive.

Another weekend, hopefully slightly productive but being an inert slug is such a tempting thing...

I woke up earlyish and cleaned at the Ruby for 3 hours, chatted with a neighbor, and then WAS A SLUG FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!
