My phone's been going off with Natl Weather Service Hurricane Alerts for the past 2 days. I'm ready to throw it at the wall.

So far it's been a big nothing, just some gusty winds and on-and-off rain.

Apparently it's now a tropical storm, and it hit land in Rhode Island, a hour or two east of us.

That's good, it could have been much worse! You never know how it's going to turn out until it's over. If that storm track had been heading my way, I'd have gas cans filled, and all the water containers and the bathtub filled up.

It is cooling off, but then warming up
today was windy as I drove back from the west side

It was nice being in cooler wetter weather this last weekend.

I could almost turn on the heat tonight. I could. Or I could use my heating pad when I go to sleep or wear a million sweaters and pile a bunch of blankets on my bed. I think I need a hat too.
