I got bit by a hornet or whatever at work today. It was quite unpleasant.

WTF?! Seriously? Holy cow! That is terrible! Where on your body did it bite you? (I don't know why I am asking that, but I AM CURIOUS!)

Also, what happened to the spot you got bit? Does it itch?

There were some good things about today and some bad things.
Good things:
One of the bankers had to become a teller now and she hasn't done it in a long time-she finally has realized how hard we have been working in the drive thru.
Her and I work awesome together.
Today the branch manager got to see it as well.
Maybe not so good things:
The branch manager hung out in the back all day w/ us and sees everything! LOL She is checking all of our work (Because all work is checked by another person, but usually not her) so she is seeing things.
But on the bright side-I try to think of what i can learn during this time and what I can take away from it. Also I am just trying my hardest to shine through it because they will remember that.

Such corporate junk and role playing!

Middle finger, left hand. It hurt fairly bad when it bit me and for the rest of the day (less so as the day went on). There was swelling as well.

The damn thing was hiding in the box of gloves I use.

I am taking the next two days off from work.

I'm calling them Mental Health days, since I've been working without a break or holiday since mid-February.

Two days to find other places to park my ass besides this desk chair, lol.

I'm happy my work week is over and that next week will be normal (schedule wise). I ended up picking up saturday (this week) which is uber slow due to the no tourists and covid situation.

Did luck out that one of the maintence guys grilled some burgers and hot dogs, which was super cool and much appreciated. So apart from buying some chips (which was asked of me) I did not have to pay for lunch.

And now he, I have chips

I found out the bank lobby is opening up. : ( It feels stressful because now only 1 person will be working in the drive up, and people will still have to wait outside, so its not like we are going to be helping people any faster. : (
