Tonight while I was sitting outside with my neighbors I heard this sound I hadn't heard before
and we looked up at the hillside and a buck was running along.

It was magical!

Even the cat noticed it!

I need a trip to a foresty / lake-y / camping-y place so I can see some nature.

All I see are flies and hear motorcycles riding by the window... the ocean is like a mile away but you wouldn't know it lol.

I keep forgetting to post about the deer I see around here.

The other day there were deer in the middle of the road that I had to wait for them to climb the bank before I proceeded. They were so cute. I could have stayed there all day.
And then today just near my house there were 3 deer, and they stood still and watched me and when I rolled down my window they didn't run but when I was taking a picture w/ my phone they got spooked.

A deer last night was in the middle of the road and it took a while before it could find a place to get off the road because of the snow drifts. I was trying to drive super slow so it wouldnt' get too freaked out.

So......
I went outside to look at the moon since it is almost full
and when I was walking back inside I walked by the wood shed and I always like to grab some wood to add to the porch as I am walking by it and I startled something at the neighboring house which no one is there at the moment....and I put my flashlight on something and it was a deer-however-it was a small deer..AND its leg was up AND for a second I said this outloud, "Deer or cougar?" I couldn't even see its complete outline. All I saw were 2 eyes and a leg and a body.
WTF I was so scared and entranced like the dumbest person ever
then I could see it was a deer
whew
BUT Then
it did this wierd thing where it seemed to walk towards me instead of running away from me
which doesn't seem normal
then it just stopped and starred for a while, which seemed normal
so I just kept starring too, with my flashlight fixed at its face, then I went inside, then back outside and there it was, still there.
Will it come to my door?

If you google "Zebras North Bend" you will see an interesting story that happened. I used to live there!

Someone was transporting zebras today (WHY-Don't know!)
And they got loose.
But now they are back in captivity.

When I was out with my brother in law I saw this sheep in this random grassy area. It kinda looked out of place, but it was just eating grass with no cares.
