I received a note today
A poem
It came to me
from the village
down the mountain
to the boat
and to the office
in which I worked
on this day
The poem is "The Bell and the Blackbird"

I did not know at first who had sent it
It could have been the one who sent me rhubarb
or the one I just met
who I had been following
for almost 10 years on line
watching her journey
of being a perforamance artist.
It was indeed the artist
The artist.
My heart flutters
