Things I accomplished today

I paid a bill
put my rent check in the mail (Don't go steal it!)
tried to renew my vehicle tabs online but it requires an address change-which apparently I didn't do when I moved here-
AND now they are requiring me to do it in person
so I will join the rest of the locals here who don't have updated tabs
not like anyone is going to pull me over

I went to the grocery store.

I moved my laundry basket next to the washer

I did all of my dishes today finally, cleaned the stovetop.

I dropped some forms off to THE GOVERNMENT, then I went to the store to get a few things (in case we loose power).

Ahh good idea.
My groceries may be delayed this week and I didn't get my order in in time today for tomorrows boat so I will just have to wait until friday. I have more than enough food-but its the snack foods I want!!!

I finally made overnight oats tonight for my breakfast or snack tomorrow or whatever.

Today I went to the trash compactor (basically that is where our trash and recycling goes and it is also a place the locals call "The Mall" where there is a section that people leave clothing, books and household goods.
I did forget to bring my boxes tho-and some books that i picked up last time that i am done with now.

I went to work for an hour to order a new mail collection box and talk to someone about it getting replaced.

i took pictures and videos of the snow and ice

came home, made lunch, talked to my mom
and then have been working at restocking my porch wood supply and kindling for the next week. Actually it might last me untl Wednesday with how cold it is, also I can't use the wheel barrow (barrel?) over the snow so its a lot of trips back and forth.

I will feel fine about spending the rest of the evening indoors, watching tv, baking and doing laundry.

I paid my bills today.
Unfortunately.
And I paid them before doing my next shopping order. Ugh.
Most of my bills are on auto pay, but we have to pay the boat for our grocery orders and the local fuel company when we fill up our car-so those come to me in monthly statements and I put them off until the last minute.

Your life always sounds so cool... I want to live in a place like that. As long as the internet is stellar...

Most of my bills are autopay too, except my rent and my electric -- I have to monitor the electric bill to make sure I didn't get some crazy throttled charge in any given month.

Same, that is smart, makes no sense to make that sort of thing auto pay.

The internet hasn't been too bad being here by myself, but add a couple of 20 somethings and a baby and I was fighting for internet all the time.

I accomplished not biting anyone's head off today. It is raining, it is grey, foggy and the snow is slowly disappearing. : (

I like living here. I love it. I don't love the post office corporation.

Wow, I guess either we have all been super busy in February or NOT AT ALL! LOL
