My boss is coming up today. First time I have had a visit up here from any of the managers. ( There have been 4)

He was s coming up to lend support and check out the storage situation. We are running out of room to store hiker boxes and the park wants me to use a space 1/2 a block away.

I have ~5-10 more years of working age, depending on what Trump does to Social Security. I have a 401k that I've been afraid to look at this year for fear of what Trump has done to that as well.

My biggest fear is that in that 5-10 years, my skills will become technologically obsolete, depending on how much AI takes over. So far, it's no match for human design skills when it comes to tailoring visuals to a client's message. But we'll see how much corporate America will allow itself to dumb down its tastes and expectations in accepting inferior AI work, as opposed to paying for the quality they've expected all these years. My skills have adapted over the years and I can learn some new apps/techniques, but to a point.

The job market is definitely not like it used to be. <------- is there a name for that kind of statement?
I always think if only I were some sort of social media influencer type I could be making more $ or doing something like that for myself or a company-but I honestly cannot handle the front facing stuff that is required, its a lot.
I just want a simple life, simple job, no evacuations. no natural disasters.

5-10 years feels like a lot.
