I should use Syncing in FF, but I don't. I'm probably making my life a lot harder by being a tinfoil hat privacy nut.

I just didn't think I needed to sync things, but this is the second time in a week I've had to remember all the websites I like to hang out on, so I'm just going to let Firefox know EVERYTHING.

What I do periodically is export all my bookmarks to an HTML file. Then you can import it back into Firefox after reinstalling and all your bookmarks are set up the way they were.

But yeah it doesn't save all the passwords and form info, just the bookmarks. I save all my PWs in a text doc with a fake name.

I save all my passwords on a notepad that is in my desk drawer, lol. It comes in handy when everything is broken and I need to use someone's phone to let chat know I won't be in chat! But it doesn't help me remember the stuff I read all the time, but don't register for. My bookmarks are nearly empty now. There was lots of stuff I hadn't looked at in ages anyway.

I don't remember many of my passwords anymore. Except the Firefox sync one (imagine if I forgot that!)
