I jumped into the lake the other day and my phone was in my pocket.

It would turn on occasionaly, now it won't turn on at all.

I got a new phone today. I can't get it activated yet.

My chromebook is full.

I hate all electronics.

I feel sad and alone.

Ouch! My heart goes out to you... I fell lost without my PCs laptops and devices.

I'm the one in my family who usually fixes everyone's else's electronics lol. (Although not anymore, the younger generation who were born with devices in their hands have taken over my family lol)

I got my new phone from Walmart $50 lol

Its a OnePlu Nord phone.

I'm trying to figure out how to turn off my very loud messenger notification

When I open up the usual place for it-it tells me a bunch of useless info-like when I used it last, how many times I used it, how many kids I should have, the # of dust bunnies under my bed.

Does it tell you which wall contains the portal to another dimension?

Finally got it activated on Friday. The person helping me said she needed to send me a text message to my old phone-did she not hear the part where I said I jumped in the lake w/ it?
I begged her to please find a work around, and gave her "I'm in a remote location in the North Cascades speech" and she helped me.

And then when she said for me to test out my phone it worked once and then I lost cell coverage (because thats what happens there) but I told her that was normal and everything was fine and she was surprised I was okay with it. LOL

Turns out getting in the water with my phone was a blessing. My new phone has some nice features I didn't have before.
The important things like blurred background in zoom.

Always a plus! Then you don't have to keep searching for fun/silly background images all day and night... that was such a thing in 2020-2021...

And now I even have cool tik tok filters. I am sooo cool now.
