The ends of my fingers are cracked and my nose is chapped. I NEED MOISTURE.

It's 24 degrees right now and the ground is sparkling with ice. It's over after today. I have two pants and three shirts on. lol

The chickens survived! lol It's 25 degrees right now.

THE COLD HAS ARRIVED.

It's almost here. I am so worried about my animals.

I haven't had to do that in many years, but I am planning on dripping a sink somewhere.

ALSO, there is a frostbite warning. FROSTBITE IN FLORIDA. omg

I dug into my dresser and found my warmest pants, they are in the washer right now. lol

I need to think about which of my water pipes need to be wrapped. I've been through several freezes so far this year, and everything has been fine, but I worry that 20 degrees will be much worse than 30.

The chicken's water had a layer of ice on it this morning. We might have snow flurries on Saturday. THE POLAR VORTEX NEEDS TO GO HOME

My computer says "Cold weather Now" and I say NO SHIT!

No, I just wrap their coop in tarps and sheets. They are old ladies, so they can tolerate the cold better than babies.

FREEZING

I am very thankful I don't have to deal with ice and snow. We are going to have below freezing temps almost every night for a week. My chickens are not enjoying it.

80 today, 85 tomorrow, gonna freeze in a couple days. grrr

All the weather nerds are freaking out about the storm. My dad and sister live in OKC, I hope they don't get the freezing rain.

Third day in a row it has been freezing or below Supposed to start warming up today and be almost 80 by Friday.
